Please read these terms carefully before using the Kiraamo digital registry service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Kiraamo platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you are prohibited from using the service and must discontinue use immediately.
2. Registry Services
Kiraamo provides a digital custody service for legal documents. We act as an immutable registry and custody provider. While we provide the technology to secure and verify documents, we are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.
3. User Obligations
Users are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all documents submitted to the registry. You must ensure that you have all necessary rights and permissions to store the documents you upload. Any misuse of the platform for illegal activities will result in immediate termination of access.
4. Digital Vault & Security
Our platform utilizes high-level encryption to secure your documents. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account.
5. Document Verification
The verification service is provided as a tool to confirm the authenticity and integrity of a document version stored in our registry. Results are based on cryptographic hashes and immutable timestamps at the time of the registry event.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Kiraamo, its directors, or employees be liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific registry event.
7. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and defined in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kampala.
